Modumetal NanoGalv® is a patented electrochemical deposition process and associated chemistry that presents precisely defined configurations of alloyed layers in a Zn-Ni coating.
The deposition process can be controlled to produce layers with unique interfacial properties resulting in corrosion resistance uniquely different from conventional Zn-Ni plating. The coating itself provides a non-embrittling alkaline type, cyanide-free, zinc-nickel laminated alloy. It is primarily intended for high and low-strength steel applications but can be deposited on other substrates as well.
