Track: Materials Sustainability
Sustainability goals are increasingly important in today’s organizations. However, it remains challenging to find the tools to support the integration of materials sustainability and materials stewardship within larger scale efforts. This symposium will present concepts, challenges, and successes in integrating materials sustainability within relevant practices. This may include existing business effort, integration within developing circular economy, or standalone activities. The presentations may include the development of solutions (such as improved coatings, new alloys, etc.), integration of corrosion management best practices, or improving communications of sustainability benefits to stakeholders. The goal of the session will be to present development and integration of sustainability-focused solutions across a wide-range of technology readiness levels.
