Paper is used in nearly every aspect of our modern lives, from ever expanding convenient mail orders, to wrapping a piece of morning pastry, to industrial parts protection during storage and transportation. Paper making requires cutting down trees as fiber source and is among the top industrial emitters of carbon dioxide greenhouse gas. More than half of paper waste was landfilled, some carries pollutants with them. Presented here is a new generation of industrial packaging paper that is designed for circular economy -- all are made using 100% recycled paper stock; and after usage all are recyclable, biodegradable, and carries no environment ecotoxicity. Among them are a certified compostable vapor-phase corrosion inhibiting packaging paper for protection of metal parts during storage and transportation; a vapor-phase inhibitor paper with barrier function, and a barrier paper with 100% biobased barrier and biodegradable.
