Education is the opportunity we all have to acquire knowledge, and is a fundamental tool for our professional development. Currently, there are two constants or needs in the job market: lack of awareness of other technical specialties and a high demand for trained personnel. There are technical specialties or careers that are not well-known, even more so if you are not in the energy industry, such as those within the field of corrosion and materials. On the other hand, there is also a constant struggle to recruit professionals with knowledge and experience in the field of corrosion. Given these two needs, a contribution to the education of young students and professionals focusing on materials performance and integrity, can directly address these constants: lack of awareness of other technical specialties.
