To advance sustainable practices in product development and manufacturing, a dedicated program has been established to manage the use of hazardous raw materials. This initiative, known as the Red Raw Material Program, aims to minimize environmental impact and safeguard the health and safety of workers by systematically identifying and addressing the most concerning substances used in formulations. The program operates independently of regulatory compliance frameworks, focusing instead on voluntary action beyond legal obligations. While regulatory requirements remain a top priority and are addressed immediately , the Program serves as a proactive measure to reduce reliance on hazardous substances. Key objectives of the program include the categorization of raw materials based on hazard potential, prioritization of high-risk materials for substitution, and the establishment of clear criteria for safe use when substitution is not feasible. A structured dispensation process is in place to manage exceptions, allowing for the controlled use of certain materials under specific, time-limited conditions. This ensures that safety and sustainability remain central even when alternatives are not immediately available. To measure progress, annual (KPIs) are defined, enabling continuous improvement and accountability. The program reflects a commitment to environmental and health, driving innovation and responsible sourcing across the value chain.
