Francois Ayello

Dr. François Ayello is a Senior Principal Engineer at DNV Energy and an AMPP Fellow with 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. He specializes in advanced risk quantification methods and the integration of machine learning to embed engineering knowledge into practical tools. As leader of the Multi-Analytic Risk Visualization (MARV) team, he develops transparent, physics-informed models that integrate real-time data and support decision-making. He has authored over 100 publications on topics including risk modeling, corrosion, multiphase flow, corrosion in supercritical environments, and underground gas storage.
