Frank Sapienza is a corrosion and materials engineer with 12 years of refining industry experience, specializing in corrosion reviews, damage mechanism assessments, risk-based inspection, and metallurgical failure analysis. He has chaired AMPP TG 358 and TEG 119X, contributed to API 751, and developed HF corporate standards and best practices. At Becht, he leads projects on corrosion control documents, HTHA evaluations, and crude corrosion management. He holds NACE and API 571 certifications, a B.S. and M.S. in Materials Science & Engineering from the University of Florida, and is based in New Orleans, LA.
