François Gilbert has been a material engineering that for the last 14 years at the refinery of Suncor. He his responsible of the Risk Based Inspection program, involved in fitness for service, developed inspection plan, complete root cause failure analysis, complete corrosion studies and implements/reviews operational integrity limit. He is also involved in a group of material specialist covering all Suncor sites. He has bachelor’s degree and a mater degree in material engineering. He is certified API-510, API-571, API-580 and he is a professional engineer in the Quebec province.
