Dr. Alireza Zolfaghari is the Principal Materials Engineer at the Enabling Technology Development Center of SLB. He received his Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Sherbrooke, Canada, and completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Ottawa, Canada, focusing on Hydrogen electrocatalysts. He has over 15 years of experience in research and development in nonmetallic materials, smart materials, electrochemistry, and advanced coatings for the energy industry. He has a track record that includes 54 journal papers, 10 patents, and numerous conference presentations.
