Danniela Cristina Herrera Gutierrez, M.Eng., is a Process Engineer at SLB, where she is transitioning to specialize in process engineering for oil and gas technologies. She has extensive experience in catalysis, chemical process scale-up and production, as well as gas, liquid, and solid-phase reactions. Danniela holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from the University of Houston - Downtown and a master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Rice University. She is the inventor of a patent in catalyst extrusion and is actively involved in advancing innovative chemical processes. Her research interests include microbial-influenced corrosion (MIC), biocide efficiency, and the scale-up of processes and technologies in the fields of chemicals, oil and gas, and renewables.
