Hannah Blansett is a Research Engineer at AMERICAN Cast Iron Pipe Company, where she focuses on corrosion monitoring and coatings and linings research for ductile iron pipelines. She earned her Master’s degree in Materials Engineering from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2023 and is currently pursuing her Professional Engineer (PE) license. This conference marks her first publication, highlighting her growing commitment to advancing corrosion science in pipeline infrastructure. Beyond her technical work, Hannah serves as the Membership Activity Chair for the AMPP-Birmingham chapter, fostering community engagement within the corrosion engineering field.
