He is a member of various coating societies and committees and is the technical lead and contributor for linings related ISO and API standards. During his career he has held various technical roles including Linings laboratory manager (Development and testing of new coatings and linings) and technical marketing and sales support roles. Michael has a 1st Class Honours Degree in Applied Chemistry from Newcastle upon Tyne (United Kingdom)
