Daniel is a Principal Materials and Corrosion Engineer working for the ROSEN Emerging Fuel division. He holds a PhD a MSc in Materials Science and Engineering from ESIREM in France, and a PhD in SCC of pipeline steels from Newcastle University in the UK. He has 20 years’ experience in asset integrity management within the oil and gas upstream and transmission markets worldwide. He has been involved in research to transport safely ‘man-made’ CO2 by pipeline as far back as 2009 as part of the first UK Carbon Capture and Storage initiatives. His current work focuses in safely operating and repurposing energy infrastructures for CO2, H2, and other emerging fuels service. He has been actively supported research initiatives on these topics under the umbrella of the European Pipeline Research Group (EPRG) and the Pipeline Research International Council (PRCI). He has published more than 30 technical papers in peer-reviewed events and journals, and has delivered industry training.
