Haixia Guo graduated from University of Alberta with a pH.D degree in Chemical and Material Engineering in 2006, and then has spent 19 years in Oil and Gas industry. She started her career by supporting Oilsands Upgrading operation as a materials/corrosion engineer at Suncor Energy. She then moved to the enterprise technical group to provide supports to Reliability and Integrity of both upstream and downstream units. Currently she is supporting Oilsands In Situ/SAGD operation. Her interests spread over material selection, failure analysis, damage mechanism identification and mitigation.
