Patryk Ciężak is the Head of the Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Department at the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) in Warsaw. He has extensive hands-on experience applying the full range of NDT techniques—UT, ET, RT, PT, MT, TT, ST, and D-sight—on military and civil aircraft. He collaborates internationally with organizations such as the Italian National Research Council (CNR) and Acuity, contributing to European projects on corrosion, hybrid structures, and advanced monitoring technologies. He is an active member of SC 07 – Defense & Aerospace and has co-authored numerous publications supporting the development of next-generation SHM/CHM solutions for aircraft structures.
