Rick Noecker is the Carbon Capture Pipeline Charter Lead for ExxonMobil Technology and Engineering Company (EMTech). During his over 18 years with ExxonMobil he has worked in Upstream, Midstream, and Research organizations. He is the Chair of API 1104, a founding member of PRCI's CO2 Technical Committee, and active in PRCI’s Emerging Fuel Institute. Prior to ExxonMobil he earned his B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from Lehigh University in Bethlehem PA. He also earned his commission in the United States Air Force through AF ROTC at Lehigh and served five years on active duty in both US based and NATO assignments. He enjoys being a dad of three boys, mentoring, soccer, exercise/cycling/hiking, and tries to learn something new every week. He and his wife are working towards a goal to visit every US National Park.
