Wesley Bezerra is a PhD candidate in Civil Engineering at the University of South Florida. His work focuses on materials durability, electrochemistry, and corrosion of reinforced concrete. He studies how materials degrade, why failure develops, and how performance can be improved in a practical and sustainable way. His research combines electrochemical testing, corrosion morphology, and modeling to define service-life behavior of carbon and stainless-steel reinforcement.
