Damien Féron is Professor at the INSTN (Université Paris-Saclay, France) and has been Director of Research at the French Atomic Energy and Alternative Energies Commission (CEA). He is working in the field of nuclear corrosion since nearly 50 years. Retired from CEA, he is now Scientific Adviser at CEA. Damien Féron has been President of the EFC (European Federation of Corrosion, 2017-18) and President of the WCO (World Corrosion Organization, 2019-2022). He received several honors including the Honorary Fellow Honors of NACE (USA, 2009) and the Paul McIntyre Award given by ICor (UK, 2025).
