Dr. Yahya H Mozumder is a Research Associate at the Henry Royce Institute, The University of Manchester, UK. His research focuses on process optimisation of additive manufacturing and powder-metallurgy hot isostatic pressing of high-performance steels. He is currently involved in the UKRI–Airbus collaborative I-BREAK project, developing next-generation aircraft landing gears through innovative manufacturing routes. Dr. Mozumder earned his PhD in Materials Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur and has published his work in several reputed journals. His broader research interests include process–microstructure–corrosion relationships in high-performance steels and nickel-based alloys.
