Skylar Johnson is a second-year graduate student in The University of Alabama’s metallurgical engineering department; she currently studies the localized corrosion of cold sprayed aluminum alloys under Dr. Greg Kubacki. Her ultimate career goal is to obtain a Ph.D. and work in academia, where she hopes to continue to research how novel surface processing and additive manufacturing techniques impact corrosion properties.
