Dr. Xing is a polymer scientist, specialized in polymer materials, fundamental, (structure-property relationship), and product development with rubbers, elastomers, plastics and composites for various applications with more than 25 years of academic and industrial experience. Dr. Xing has published around 30 journal papers, a chapter of book and around 10 patents. Dr. Xing is a senior material scientist at CNPC USA Inc. His current (research) work focuses on research and development of rubbers, polymers and composites for the oil and gas application, especially for HTHP sour downhole applications. He is an active member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, the Society of Plastics Engineers and Energy Polymer Groups.
