Nafiseh Ebrahimi

National Research Council Canada

Dr. Nafiseh Ebrahimi is a corrosion scientist and research leader at the National Research Council Canada (NRC), specializing in corrosion of infrastructure. With more than 100 publications, conference papers, and technical reports, she has significantly advanced understanding of materials performance in challenging environments. Dr. Ebrahimi leads major national collaborations with municipalities, universities, and industry, and plays an active role in shaping corrosion-related standards through ASTM and AMPP. Her work has earned multiple NRC and international recognitions, reflecting her impact on research, innovation, and the development of practical solutions for safer, longer-lasting infrastructure.
