As a first-year PhD candidate in Electrical Engineering, I am a Graduate Research Assistant focused on optimizing data management for pipeline infrastructure. My research addresses the challenges of handling large-scale geospatial datasets, field inspection reports, pipeline risk datasets, and incident data. I work on improving the efficiency of data storage, retrieval, and processing within these complex datasets to support pipeline integrity. Additionally, I integrate advanced image processing techniques, particularly 3D object reconstruction using structured light scanning, to enhance the accuracy of damage detection and structural assessments for pipelines.
