Muhammad Hashir Zaheer is a PhD Researcher in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Leeds, funded by the EPSRC DTP in collaboration with Versuni. His research focuses on developing eco-friendly mineral-fouling inhibitors and surface treatment technologies to enhance the longevity and sustainability of domestic appliances. Hashir holds an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s in Tribology of Surfaces and Interfaces with distinction, bringing international expertise in materials characterization, high-temperature tribology, and experimental design. He has previously contributed to research at Scania Group and AC2T, and is passionate about advancing sustainable engineering solutions across academia and industry.
