The workshop will provide an overview of industrial protective coatings and include desin considerations, material selection, surface preperation, ambient conditions, and basic quality control techniques. What participants will attain out of this workshop is a basic undersatanding of how protective coatings are specified and applied to meet the goals of a project. Well will also discuss Corrosion, Design, Paint, Specifications, Contractors, Inspection and Maintteance in genreal terms to give the student the baiscs of industrial coatings.
