The presentation discusses how the US Navy and National Shipbuilding Research Program (NSRP) SP-3 panel are working together to reduce the cost of painting Navy ships. In addition to describing the various entities and how they interact, the presentation will review projects that have transitioned to industry with big ROI, projects that provide guidance to the Navy shipbuilding and ship repair community, and forward leaning projects that look at new technologies for the industry.
