Sreelakshmi Sreeharan

University of Dayton

Dr. Sreelakshmi Sreeharan is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Dayton’s Applied AI and Sensing Lab for Infrastructure Engineering. She earned her Ph.D. in Engineering from the University of Dayton, specializing in Bayesian Machine Learning, Uncertainty Quantification, and Digital Twin frameworks for infrastructure monitoring. Her research focuses on pipeline integrity assessment, corrosion modeling, and AI-enabled sensing systems. With experience spanning both academia and industry, she has contributed to U.S. DOT PHMSA- and industry-funded projects, authored high-impact publications, and mentored students. Dr. Sreeharan’s interdisciplinary expertise bridges civil, environmental, and computational engineering toward safer, more resilient infrastructure systems.
