Dr. Jiaxiang Ren is the R&D manager of material and fundamentals for CNPC-USA. Dr. Ren’s position encompasses materials and fundamentals R&D for Upstream and energy transition industries. DR. Ren has 23+ years of materials R&D, manufacturing, testing, and leadership experience. He specializes in elastomers, thermoplastics, polymer composite materials, metallic materials development and qualification, corrosion prevention. Dr. Ren has 30+ granted US patents and has authored more than 60+ publications and developed numerous proprietary materials technologies throughout his career. Currently, Dr. Ren is an editing committee member for ISO 23936 3-6, ISO 15136-3, AMPP SC 09, API SC 21, etc.
