Dr. Sridhar is the CEO of MC Consult LLC, a materials and corrosion consulting company. He has 45 years of experience in corrosion, alloy development, sensors, and Bayesian network-based risk assessment. He is involved in several R&D projects including nuclear waste storage, geothermal asset evaluation, hydrogen infrastructure, supercritical CO2 pipelines, and refinery corrosion modeling. He is an Adjunct Professor at The Ohio State University, Materials Science & Engineering department. He was a Vice President at DNV. Before joining DNV, he was a Program Director at Southwest Research Institute. From 1981 to 1989, he was involved in the development of nickel based alloys and stainless steels at Haynes International. He has published over 200 papers, two books, and several handbook chapters. He serves as an Associate Editor of Corrosion journal and Corrosion Engineering Science & Technology journal. He has received several international awards, including the Frank Newman Speller, Willis Whitney, and Guy Bengough awards. He is a Fellow of ASM and AMPP.
