Jay Yun is currently PM- Non-Metallics, Technical Advisor in Enabling Technology Development in SLB. Early on in his career, he worked in the area of automotive plastics and rubber/elastomer along with his Ph.D. in Polymer Science and Engineering from the University of Akron. Jay Yun joined SLB in 2006 and he has been working on Wireline cable development/ process along with various non-metallic projects and knowledge building block. Additionally, he has been working on new technology scouting and expert service, globally. He holds 27 granted patents and 17 US patent applications, 24 peer-reviewed publications.
