Lan Wei, Senior Corrosion Engineer, AMPP CP4 (#5762995), AMPP CIP1(#113551), was born in 1991. He received the master’s degree from Harbin Institute of Technology in 2014. Now, he works in PipeChina Institute of Science and Technology. He has led 12 CP and coating related research projects over the past 11 years. His research interests cover pipeline coating, cathodic protection, corrosion control, and failure analysis. He drafted ISO 5872 and ISO 21857 standards, and published 20 CP related peer-reviewed papers in reputable journals such as Corrosion Science, Current Biology, Materials & Design and Alexandria Engineering Journal.
