Dr. Kiran Kumar Vadde is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Texas at San Antonio. He earned a Ph.D. in Environmental Microbiology from the University of Liverpool, UK, with expertise in microbial Source Tracking and microbial community ecology. His current research integrates microbial ecology and materials science to understand the mechanisms of microbiologically influenced corrosion (MIC) in marine systems.
