Li Zhong is an Associate Researcher and Master’s Supervisor at the Institute of Advanced Materials and Technology, University of Science and Technology Beijing (USTB). He holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Ohio University, USA, and joined USTB in 2023. His research focuses on microbial corrosion, stress corrosion cracking, and the development of corrosion-resistant advanced materials—key topics in materials protection. He has published 20+ SCI papers in top-tier journals and was awarded the NACE Asia-Pacific Young Scholar Award in 2021. Actively leading national and industry-university collaborative projects, he is dedicated to developing innovative anti-corrosion technologies for the energy and chemical sectors.
