Marquette University Opus College of Engineering - Society of Jesus
I am a third-year Ph.D. candidate in Civil/Structural Engineering at Marquette University, working under the supervision of Dr. Qindan Huang. Currently, my research focuses on predictive modeling of reinforced-concrete bridge deck deterioration, integrating chloride-induced corrosion mechanisms with other influential explanatory variables using statistical and machine-learning approaches. I work extensively with MnDOT bridge data to build patching prediction models, deterioration curves, and decision-support tools for bridge management. My broader interests include bridge engineering in both design and maintenance, life-cycle cost analysis, risk assessment, and service-life prediction, using a combination of finite-element modeling and data-driven techniques.
