My name is Gaatha Kainikkara, I completed my Master’s in Chemistry from the National Institute of Technology, Meghalaya, India. Following that, I worked as a Project Associate at the Central University of Rajasthan, focusing on catalysis, and later as a Junior Project Fellow at the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology, where I worked on lithium-ion batteries. I joined at Montanuniversity Leoben as a PhD student at the chair of General and Analytical chemistry at corrosion department under the guidance of Prof.Gregor Mori. My work is focused on the corrosion of Titanium in aggressive conditions and anodic protection
