Dr. Raghu Srinivasan is an Associate Professor and Department Chair of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Alaska Anchorage, where he also serve as a Director of the Environmental Degradation Laboratory. His research focuses on atmospheric and marine corrosion, materials compatibility, and corrosion in oil and gas infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on Arctic and sub-Arctic environments. He currently serves as Chair of the Research Society Leadership Council (RSLC, 2025–2027), Vice-Chair of the Research Program Committee (RPC, 2023–2025).
